Deloitte is looking for a bilingual Conseiller(ère) principal(e) to lead strategic Delivery Model Expansion (DME) initiatives and foster operational excellence in a global, high-impact environment. As a Senior Advisor and DME expert, you will define and execute DME processes, acting as a trusted advisor across the firm to improve efficiency and align with organizational objectives.
What You'll Do
- Lead DME projects within the SWIFT/Finance SIA team, collaborating with cross-functional teams including Deloitte Global Process Office, Global Financial Services, Finance Business Partners, Central Services, and IT.
- Act as the firm's DME expert, lead strategic initiatives, provide end-to-end process guidance, facilitate training, and develop comprehensive process documentation.
- Design, implement, and manage DME processes to ensure alignment with business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze and collaborate with service teams to optimize DME processes and period-end closing procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify changing needs, and develop effective solutions.
- Advise leaders on DME best practices and offer recommendations to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of processes across regions.
- Oversee DME technical maintenance, including HCM mapping tables, hour replication, change request creation and testing, and full-cycle payable management.
- Collaborate with leaders and Finance Business Partners to align DME strategies with organizational objectives.
- Communicate with Finance Business Partners regarding DME cost center financial data, rates, margin analysis, and related inquiries.
- Coordinate system testing and issue resolution with local stakeholders and global support teams.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues to leaders as needed.
- Provide regular project status updates and make presentations to leadership teams.
- Intervene in the escalation process and resolve operational issues related to DME and SAP.
What We're Looking For
- At least five years of experience with SAP and financial accounting operations.
- Experience managing financial data for projects using other execution resources.
- Demonstrated success leading finance function transformation or process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience managing international projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly communicate complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience supporting management and influencing key stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset and strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Effective collaboration and cross-service relationship building skills.
- Strong understanding of business and finance principles.
- Ability to work independently and within a high-performing team.
- Bilingualism in French and English is required due to the role's interactions with national and global clients and project teams.
