Vodori was looking for a Configuration Quality Assurance Associate | Vodori

GT is looking for a Configuration Quality Assurance Associate to support Vodori's Professional Services team. You will ensure configured customer environments are accurate, complete, and compliant. Your work directly reduces risk and improves the quality of customer implementations.

What You'll Do

  • Independently test and validate customer configurations implemented by Configuration Specialists.
  • Execute functional and regression testing for new implementations, expansions, add-ons, and customer migrations.
  • Review structured configuration files and related changes for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
  • Validate configuration behavior against documented requirements and real-world usage scenarios.
  • Identify, document, and clearly communicate defects, gaps, and delivery risks prior to customer release.
  • Partner with Configuration Specialists and Implementation Managers to resolve issues uncovered during QA.
  • Support change control processes by validating configuration changes across environments.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of QA checklists, test plans, and validation standards.
  • Manage multiple QA efforts concurrently while maintaining a high bar for quality and consistency.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in software QA, implementation QA, or configuration validation roles.
  • Hands-on experience testing SaaS products with configuration-driven (non-UI) behavior.
  • Ability to interpret and validate structured, text-based configuration files (e.g., JSON, YAML, EDN, XML).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Understanding of change control, validation, and risk mitigation in software delivery.
  • Comfortable working with tools such as GitHub and Jira (or similar).
  • Ability to work independently and provide clear, actionable feedback on others’ work.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in regulated environments (life sciences, healthcare, medtech, etc.).
  • Exposure to data migrations, configuration-heavy platforms, or enterprise SaaS implementations.
  • Experience contributing to QA standards, test strategies, or scalable validation approaches.
  • Strong Excel skills or basic scripting experience.
