Responsibilities
- Lead the Engineering Change Management process by working with cross-functional teams including Systems Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure rapid and error-free implementation of design changes.
- Assess and validate system-wide effects of proposed modifications to guarantee improvements to the integrated launch vehicle.
- Implement the project's configuration management strategy while identifying ways to enhance baseline configuration control.
- Spend approximately 20% of time performing detailed configuration validation, including verification of fit, form, and function, ensuring alignment between engineering and manufacturing bills of materials, and managing component obsolescence with Supply Chain.
- Improve and automate data integrity checks across platforms to proactively detect issues such as missing parts, revision mismatches, and ERP synchronization failures.
- Serve as a key user of Teamcenter, Jira, and Infor LN, monitoring progress and enabling seamless data flow between design, manufacturing, and enterprise systems.
- Establish and maintain robust engineering processes to ensure high standards of quality and consistency.
