Intento is looking for a Computational Linguist Analyst to join our team. You will contribute to projects centered on AI-driven Machine Translation, focusing on performance evaluation, workflow design, and quality optimization across diverse domains.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate Machine Translation (MT) quality using established playbooks and internal tools.
- Design and implement translation workflows that integrate various AI tools to meet specific customer requirements.
- Conduct evaluations across other AI-related areas, such as text generation and voice recognition.
- Improve evaluation playbooks and methodologies based on project insights and results.
- Propose enhancements to company tools and workflows, translating business needs into actionable requirements for R&D.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent in written and spoken English (Upper-Intermediate level or higher).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to address both technical and linguistic challenges.
- Solid understanding of Python and hands-on experience with Jupyter Notebooks.
- Familiarity with key Python libraries, including pandas, NumPy, requests, and experience working with JSON data.
- Basic knowledge of prompt engineering principles and their application in AI workflows.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of additional languages.
