Henry Schein One LLC is hiring a Compliance Specialist to lead processes that ensure adherence to policies and legal standards. You will provide critical compliance advice and support to the company and its affiliates while monitoring regulatory requirements globally.
What You'll Do
- Follow up on the implementation of compliance recommendations, including those from due diligence for acquisitions.
- Assist with risk assessments and work with audit teams to review program compliance, using analytics tools to monitor for potential risk areas.
- Familiarize yourself with federal, state, and global legal requirements and respond to field and client inquiries.
- Review marketing and sales materials and programs.
- Work with Sunshine systems and analytics to understand business trends and advise on compliance implications.
- Ensure compliance recommendations are implemented and disclosures are documented across invoices, marketing materials, websites, and terms.
- Review and prepare legal documentation related to Sunshine, including contracts and reporting forms.
- Maintain a library of Sunshine forms for operational consistency.
- Keep the Sunshine Assumptions document current to support reporting interpretations.
- Assist with dispute resolution procedures and donation reviews, including policy development and monitoring.
- Manage government contracting and government-funded entity compliance.
- Monitor new CMS interpretations of Sunshine requirements.
- Publish periodic FAQs and field communications as appropriate.
- Formalize state policies for states with transparency or marketing requirements and roll them out.
- Ensure applicable annual reporting and periodic training requirements are met at state, federal, and international levels.
- Monitor new global transparency and marketing requirements, such as those in France and Australia.
- Create guidelines and tools and advise global operations to ensure compliance.
- Assist with other compliance work as needed, which may involve international projects.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3-5 years of direct compliance experience.
- Typically 3 to 5 or more years of increasing responsibility in relevant professional experience.
