Frontline Insurance is hiring a Commercial Property Underwriter to play a key role in evaluating and managing commercial coastal property risks. You will analyze individual risks to determine acceptability, pricing, and coverage, while fostering strong relationships with our appointed agents. What You'll Do
- Analyze individual commercial coastal property risks to determine acceptability, pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions within company guidelines.
- Analyze loss control reports, loss experience, and other supporting underwriting information for informed individual risk decision-making.
- Maintain and develop relationships with appointed Frontline Agents.
- Achieve loss ratio objectives.
- Work with internal department staff for processing, research, and development of underwriting guidelines, pricing, and products.
- Partner with other internal departments as needed.
- Work with the marketing/sales department to help develop production and marketing goals.
- Review and analyze underwriting production reports, loss reports, and business metrics.
- Travel as needed to visit agents and attend company functions.
- Possess knowledge of time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience analyzing and underwriting commercial coastal property risks.
- Strong ability to evaluate loss control reports, claims history, and other risk data.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining professional relationships with agents or clients.
- Experience working collaboratively with internal teams to achieve business objectives.
- Knowledge of underwriting processes, pricing models, and coverage terms.
- Ability to travel as required for agent visits and company events.
