Responsibilities
- Provision and configure virtual servers in cloud environments, VMware, or Nutanix platforms.
- Install and configure physical servers from bare metal.
- Manage, run, and maintain enterprise data center infrastructure, including Nutanix, Windows, and Linux systems.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, and Python.
- Deploy servers through DevOps pipelines and toolchains.
- Secure web and file transfer services using https or ftps, and address SSL vulnerabilities using IIS expertise.
- Conduct infrastructure updates and enhance performance of physical and virtual server environments.
- Evaluate and apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) as required.
- Improve efficiency of system operations and optimize resource usage.
- Conduct capacity assessments and future planning for infrastructure growth.
- Perform maintenance on storage hardware, including replacing failed drives.
- Support scheduled maintenance activities during weekend timeframes.
- Conduct research, design, and development of server solutions aligned with client requirements.
- Collaborate in designing systems, executing implementation tasks, and maintaining ongoing operations.
- Create and maintain accurate server documentation, configurations, and related procedures, including updating internal wiki resources.
- Troubleshoot server issues to identify and resolve common hardware and OS problems.
- Apply creative problem-solving techniques to resolve technical challenges.
- Deliver Tier III support for data center systems and services.
- Respond to critical outages and perform emergency repairs as needed.

Education/Experience Substitutions
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field typically equates to at least one year of applicable experience.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field typically equates to at least two years of applicable experience.
- For roles requiring a Bachelor's degree, a High School Diploma combined with four additional years of relevant experience may be sufficient.
Work Location and Schedule
- Primary work location is Oklahoma City, OK.
- Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, with core hours from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM local time.
- Telework may be allowed when deemed beneficial to the Government.
- FAA Personnel Suitability clearance (AMS 3.14-2) is required.
