SAP Fioneer is looking for a Cloud-Native Frontend Developer Intern (f/m/d) to support our team in building innovative cloud-native software solutions. You will accompany the entire development process and help us develop a new product for commercial real estate loans, working within a global software company that has a pragmatic, start-up mentality.
What You'll Do
- Accompany the entire development process, from requirements definition to implementation and deployment of the finished application.
- Design and develop modern applications in close collaboration with experienced team members.
- Implement micro frontends and packages in React (Javascript / Typescript) using UI5-webcomponents-react and technologies like tanstack react-query.
- Participate in the implementation of a robust End-to-End testing framework and its integration into CI/CD Pipelines (GitHub).
- Support the team in the further development of the Fioneer Credit Workplace product and its product launch process.
What We're Looking For
- Currently a student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a comparable STEM degree programme with above-average performance.
- Advanced knowledge of written and spoken German.
- Written and spoken English.
- Independent and structured way of working with a strong focus on quality and maintainability.
- Strong experience with modern SPA frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Experience with Javascript, Typescript, Routing and using REST APIs.
Nice to Have
- React experience.
- Initial experience with Micro Frontends, different bundlers and package development.
- Interest in end-to-end testing technologies, especially Playwright.
- Interest in cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure.
- Interest in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Ideally, some experience in agile and project-based work or software development.
