Responsibilities
- Lead observability components across globally distributed cloud services and production environments.
- Establish standardized practices, operational guides, and educational resources.
- Serve as the expert for observability, managing and utilizing the platform for monitoring and alerting.
- Collaborate within a hybrid team of experienced DevOps/SRE and development professionals.
- Participate in Agile rituals, including sprint planning, estimation, and tracking of tasks.
- Assist development teams with deployment, configuration, and operations across environments.
- Maintain documentation for DevOps procedures and create detailed runbooks.
- Drive process improvements focused on automation and eliminating repetitive tasks.
- Serve in on-call rotations to diagnose, resolve, and escalate production issues, lead incident responses, and conduct post-mortems.
- Define, achieve, and report on key metrics related to system performance, reliability, security, cost, and operational excellence.
