Capgemini is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to ensure the success of business and IT transformations for our clients in the financial sector. With technological foresight and targeted consulting, you will embody the DevOps culture, taking responsibility for the quality, stability, and security of our clients' environments.
What You'll Do
- Live the DevOps culture and be responsible for the quality, stability, and security of our clients' environments.
- Support clients in the Financial Services sector on their cloud transformation journey by using modern provisioning concepts and tools.
- Implement full automation as a standard and know the tools and patterns required.
- Work closely with the customer, identify requirements and opportunities, and implement them together with your team.
- Share knowledge in technical workshops and get inspired by new impulses from our communities.
- Communicate the advantages of cloud-native services to clients and contribute ideas for better and more secure environment management.
- Understand the requirements for highly available infrastructures and backup strategies, considering cost efficiency and practicality.
- Bridge the gap between development and operations and break down outdated structures by inspiring others to work in product teams as a DevOps Engineer.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Developer.
- Have built a deployment pipeline yourself in Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Implemented Infrastructure-as-Code pipelines from scratch with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates.
- Knowledge of the specifics of hyperscaler services to be provisioned (AWS or Azure - one hyperscaler is sufficient).
- Worked on cloud projects with AWS Secret Manager or Azure Key Vault.
- For on-premise environments, knowledge of corresponding products for securely storing security-relevant parameters.
- Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructures.
- Developed in Java or C# and understand what it means to containerize an application.
- Experience with service platforms like Kubernetes, including their administration, external connectivity, and automated deployment.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes-specific topics like Deployments or Helm Charts.
- Routine use of the kubectl CLI.
