Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to support our high-value federal clients. You will design, implement, and maintain secure cloud-based systems and applications through infrastructure as code and automation, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement secure cloud-based systems and applications, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines
- Build, deploy, and troubleshoot cloud-native applications in AWS environments
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
- Create and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, including NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, and FedRAMP
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle
- Implement and maintain security controls, including IAM, encryption, and network security
- Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and services
- Work with a variety of cloud native tools to add capabilities and secure the platform
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across all layers of the technology stack
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or cloud platform engineering
- 3+ years of experience with RHEL or CentOS administration
- 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or similar) and CLI
- 3+ years of experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting DNS, VPN, HTTPS, and networking configurations
- 3+ years of proficiency with Bash, Python, or other scripting and automation technologies
- 2+ years of experience implementing security controls in cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or 4+ years of relevant job or military experience in lieu of degree
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Sec+, CISSP, CASP, etc.) or DoD 8140 equivalent
- Active Top-Secret Clearance, preferred with SCI eligibility
Nice to Have
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty)
- Experience with containerization orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (EKS)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with National Security systems and Air-Gapped Environments
Technical Stack
- AWS services: EC2, VPC, EBS, ALB, RDS, S3, EKS, ECR, etc.
- Linux system administration, particularly with RHEL/CentOS
- Docker, Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipeline development and automation (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins)

- Network architecture: VPC design, hybrid connectivity, security groups, load balancing
