Kyndryl is hiring a Cloud Architect - DevSecOps (Azure & AWS) to serve as the key technical link between our teams and our clients. In this technical leadership role, you will guide stakeholders and deliver comprehensive solutions from start to finish, leveraging your vision and deep knowledge to define, design, and implement the best technical outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Unite and guide stakeholders from clients, governance, project executives, delivery, and vendors.
- Understand client needs at project inception and determine the optimal technical solution.
- Deliver the right product on time and within budget.
- Act as the subject matter expert to the client, consulting early and gathering inputs.
- Define what Kyndryl can do to meet the client's solution requirements.
- Design the best solution for the job.
- Serve as the technical leader for implementation.
- Use knowledge of all major cloud platforms and call on other SMEs when needed.
- Influence, create, and deliver solutions from start to finish.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure setup, management, and optimization across Azure and AWS, including multi-account/subscription environments.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, and Bash for automation, integration, and task orchestration.
- Experience with event-driven compute and serverless technologies, especially Azure Functions and AWS Lambda.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
- Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
- Proficiency in YAML and JSON for configuration management and deployment definitions.
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience with secret management tools such as Azure Key Vault and AWS Secrets Manager.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on shared ownership and collaborative problem-solving.
- Continuous learning attitude.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing and optimizing multi-cloud environments.
- In-depth knowledge of serverless architecture leveraging services like Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, Event Grid, and Step Functions.
- Familiarity with API gateway services, such as Azure API Management and AWS API Gateway.
- Knowledge of cloud cost optimization tools and techniques.
- Exposure to Infrastructure Monitoring & Observability tools like Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
- Understanding of cloud governance frameworks.
