Design, implement, and operate secure and scalable Microsoft Azure cloud environments with a strong focus on automation, infrastructure-as-code, and continuous improvement. Collaborate within an international engineering team to support critical global air travel systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Manage core Azure services including networking, compute, storage, and identity management.
- Use Terraform to implement Infrastructure-as-Code for consistent and repeatable environments.
- Automate deployments and operational tasks using GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues while supporting application teams.
- Contribute to cloud security, cost optimization, and architectural enhancements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and standards.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
- Proven experience designing and managing Azure infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
- Experience using GitHub for version control and CI/CD integration.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring and observability tools.
- Understanding of networking, security, and identity in cloud environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Knowledge of containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or AKS.
