BD (Becton Dickinson) is hiring a Clinical Specialist RN in St. Louis to execute the Medication Delivery Solutions value-added clinical strategy. The role implements clinical initiatives that differentiate the MDS portfolio by improving outcomes and processes. You'll achieve this by recommending best practices, facilitating education, and actively engaging in conversion management, product implementation, and training.
What You'll Do
- Manage responsibilities within the allotted Travel & Expense budget.
- Provide monthly updates to the Clinical Manager on regional training activities and support.
- Facilitate customer training classes to support conversion or retention opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Regional Team to clinically support engagements from pre-sale through post-conversion.
- Develop strong working relationships with end-users while providing product in-servicing and clinical education.
- Provide routine follow-up support to customers at end-user locations.
- Conduct regional training for contractual nursing support.
- Collaborate with the Clinical and Regional Business Managers to optimize scheduling for maximum results.
- Conduct Vascular Access Management assessments to support Vascular Care and Vascular Access sales.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years general nursing experience.
- 3 years of Ultrasound guided vascular access device placement experience required (PICC & midline).
- Proven training skills to conduct educational courses.
- Persuasive and credible; able to influence without authority.
- Strong understanding of infusion therapy, vascular access, and key MDS disease states.
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.
Nice to Have
- BSN is preferred.
Team & Environment
Reports directly to a Clinical Manager and collaborates closely with a regional sales team.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $91,600.00 - $151,100.00 USD Annual
