The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant for a staff research position. This role focuses on gynecologic clinical research and involves collaboration with researchers at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and professional accomplishments.
What You'll Do
- Assist physicians, nurses, and researchers during clinical studies.
- Assist with patient recruitment and study enrollment.
- Perform routine physical/clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, blood pressure readings, and pulse checks.
- Prepare procedure rooms, change linen and paper, and stock gowns, sheets, and supplies.
- Schedule study-related appointments by phone, including return visits and tests.
- Clean instruments and equipment and prepare them for autoclave.
- Welcome and assist study participants with registration, providing general study information and helping complete paperwork.
- Accurately enter data from electronic medical records or paper charts into study-specific electronic data capture systems.
- Perform related duties based on departmental need.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED.
Nice to Have
- Associate’s Degree.
- Two (2) years of general workforce experience.
Team & Environment
You will assist researchers in the department of OBGYN and collaborate with researchers at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center.
