Responsibilities
- Supervise daily telehealth program activities to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams, including clinicians, IT, and support staff, to design and execute telehealth workflows and protocols.
- Oversee telehealth appointment scheduling to maximize resource use and maintain timely patient access.
- Track key performance indicators for telehealth services and apply data-driven strategies to improve quality, efficiency, and patient experience.
- Provide training and ongoing education to staff on telehealth tools, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Partner with IT departments to resolve technical problems involving telehealth platforms, equipment, and network connections.
- Monitor advancements in telehealth, including regulatory changes and emerging technologies, and recommend updates to systems and processes.
- Enforce adherence to privacy and security standards, such as HIPAA, in the management and storage of patient data.
- Create and maintain operational documentation, policies, and standard procedures for telehealth services.
- Promote patient-centered care by ensuring a supportive and positive experience for both patients and providers.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
