About the Role

Global Payments is looking for a Client Support Specialist to join our team. You will provide first-line help desk support for end-users, resolving issues with PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware. At Global Payments, we're proud to deliver best-in-class payment technology and software solutions, and you'll help ensure our clients receive timely and accurate technical assistance.

What You'll Do

  • Receive and assess client issues via phone, the Client Support Help Desk, email, and portal to define problems and determine impact.
  • Document and generate support tickets for tracking, classify severity, and notify appropriate business or technical resources.
  • Provide initial technical support, such as resetting passwords for multiple applications and troubleshooting desktop and terminal issues.
  • Escalate issues requiring more in-depth knowledge and experience.
  • Verify systems, screens, and websites during and after scheduled outages and maintenance.
  • Assist with monitoring critical path processing to confirm benchmarks are met and notify clients about missed deliverables.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Typically no relevant experience is required.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in computer science or a technical field.
  • Typically minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous help desk experience.
  • Experience with POS terminals.
