What You'll Do
- Offer an excellent customer experience by providing a seamless account opening process.
- Ensure all client applications are processed with agreed consistent standards according to specific regulations.
- Review and approve client applications, including individual, partner, corporate, trust, and joint account applications.
- Verify documents and complete extended ID checks for some countries and identify areas of potential risks such as AML or fraudulent IDs.
- Communicate effectively with clients to hasten and complete the verification process and open new accounts.
- Identify areas for improvements and opportunities to streamline processes.
- Maintain a working knowledge of global compliance standards.
- Collaborate with other departments like Sales and Customer Service to provide accurate information on new accounts.
- Assist with customer support functions such as replying to support emails, live chat, and other support tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in a similar role, ideally in a bilingual environment.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards.
- Experience in client onboarding and customer service.
- Fluency in both English and Portuguese or any additional language.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality under pressure.
- Ability to use good judgement, act and make decisions with integrity.
- Strong customer focus and passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Highly motivated and a positive people person.
- Ability to complete tasks end to end and good time management.
- Desire and passion for continuous learning, improvement, and innovation.
Nice to Have
- Ideally a background in finance, business, economics, commerce or similar.
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Commerce or similar is desirable.
- Basic understanding of Forex and interest in the financial markets is desirable.
