Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and implementation of AI and large language model platforms using native Azure services, prioritizing scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Direct the advancement of cloud-native infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP, with primary emphasis on Azure PaaS, AI capabilities, and automation-driven design.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to assess, document, and resolve performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency challenges in cloud and AI workloads.
- Implement and manage GitHub as the central source of truth for infrastructure and configuration changes using GitOps methodologies.
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines in GitHub and Azure DevOps to support secure, repeatable deployments of cloud and AI systems.
- Lead the creation, review, and governance of Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code to ensure consistency, compliance, and traceability across environments.
- Establish coding standards and best practices for Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, Bicep, JSON, and PowerShell, favoring modular and reusable components.
- Design, deploy, and maintain containerized environments with orchestration, auto-scaling, and lifecycle management on Azure container platforms.
- Support teams in adopting microservices and cloud-native patterns, integrating containerized workloads into CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for always-on production systems that support high-throughput, mission-critical operations.
- Manage daily technical, administrative, and functional support for cloud platforms, ensuring adherence to SOC2, ISO27001, and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Define and enforce documentation standards for system architecture, code repositories, runbooks, and operational processes.
- Deliver technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, influencing design decisions, onboarding new projects, and resolving complex platform issues.
- Evaluate emerging technologies in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and DevOps to advance platform capabilities and operational performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
