About the Role
The coordinator oversees the implementation of building management systems, ensuring all technical components are properly installed, tested, and transitioned to operations. This role acts as the central point of contact during deployment, aligning stakeholders and resolving issues to maintain project momentum.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the rollout of building automation systems across client sites.
- Manage timelines and deliverables for system activation projects.
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, clients, and project managers.
- Track project progress and escalate risks or delays promptly.
- Ensure all system components are installed according to design specifications.
- Verify integration of sensors, controllers, and software platforms.
- Support commissioning and functional testing of building systems.
- Document project milestones and handover requirements.
- Facilitate communication between engineering, field technicians, and client representatives.
- Review system performance data during activation phases.
- Identify and resolve deployment bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities and change requests.
- Ensure compliance with project-specific technical and safety standards.
- Coordinate training sessions for client personnel on new systems.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures for system handover.
- Monitor vendor deliverables and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Support quality assurance checks during installation and configuration.
- Prepare status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage documentation for as-built system configurations.
- Work with scheduling teams to align field work with project timelines.
- Troubleshoot coordination issues between design and field execution.
- Ensure all activation steps follow established technical workflows.
- Collaborate with design teams to incorporate field feedback.
- Verify completion of punch list items prior to project closeout.
- Support post-deployment system performance reviews
