Join Cushman & Wakefield Global, Inc as a Building Engineer responsible for assisting with the operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of commercial buildings, industrial systems, grounds, and equipment. You will play a key role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and efficiency of assigned properties.

What You'll Do

Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of building systems to include HVAC, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, and packaging machinery.
Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, and electrical devices.
Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, and painted surfaces.
Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations.
Respond immediately to emergency situations and assigned customer service requests.
Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe conditions and perform preventative maintenance.
Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as fire alarms and pumps.
Perform carpentry and snow removal when necessary.
Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company safety directives.
Complete all required C&W Safety Training annually.
Adhere to the C&W Uniform Dress Code and maintain a professional appearance.

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license (commercial license may be required) with a good driving record.
Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Nice to Have

Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in at least one of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.

Team & Environment

You may be the only maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts, requiring strong independent problem-solving skills.
