Dach für Dach is hiring a Builder & Founding Engineer to build the technology team and software platform for tenant solar power from the ground up. As the first technical hire, you will have a deep impact, shaping both the product and the company's technical vision as you work directly with the founders.
What You'll Do
- Build the core software products and platform from scratch.
- Take overall technical responsibility for the entire software platform.
- Implement new features together with the founders, such as visualizing energy data or automating billing.
- Build the technical architecture, make fundamental tech stack decisions, and establish development processes.
What We're Looking For
- A hands-on mentality: you actively tackle challenges and drive the product forward autonomously.
- An ability to solve problems quickly and pragmatically without overengineering.
- Judgement in knowing when to use No/Low-Code and AI tools effectively and when a more structured approach is needed.
- Full-stack competence with very good knowledge of frontend and backend technologies.
- Strong self-management and curiosity: you organize yourself independently and quickly delve into new topics.
- Language skills: English and basic German.
- A passion for the energy transition and joy in getting things done.
Nice to Have
- Experience with energy or billing software.
Team & Environment
You will be joining a small team of 1-10 employees and will work in direct collaboration with the founders, reporting directly to them.
