Inventive Food Technology (IFF) is hiring a Blister Technician

About the Role

International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) is looking for a Blister Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will perform packaging and light machine operation functions across multiple work locations in support of our HWP production goals. You'll work under established procedures and supervision, with specific tasks defined by detailed work instructions.

What You'll Do

  • Learn the operator roles, responsibilities, and SOPs specific to your assigned area and equipment.
  • Complete all required batch records and forms accurately and on time.
  • Operate assigned equipment safely, productively, and efficiently.
  • Perform machine changeovers and cleaning as outlined in the production schedule and per SOPs.
  • Weigh, count, document, and verify materials used in your assigned production area.
  • Ensure products in your area are produced according to the batch record and specifications.
  • Clean assigned equipment and rooms according to SOPs in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to company rules and safe work practices within the department.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Pass packaging-zone-related assessments within designated time frames.
  • Move and/or stack bins, metal plates, and buckets of materials; load tubs of materials to work centers as needed.
  • Check and correct any unsafe or unclean conditions; report safety problems immediately.
  • Recognize out-of-control events, discontinue operations, and resume only when issues are resolved.
  • Be present at the physical job location for your designated shift.
  • Train others or participate in task forces to improve procedures or operations.
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
  • Work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
  • Successfully pass all job-related tests and certifications for a cGMP, quality environment and re-qualify annually.

What We're Looking For

  • A legal right to work in the United States.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice to Have

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 6 months–2 years of current experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating mechanical equipment used in conveying, sealing, inspection, and packaging of products/containers.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, electronic, chemical, cosmetics, and/or food industries.
  • Experience with FDA/cGMP compliance.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $37,024–$46,280.
