About the Role

Job Title Medical Equipment Specialist - Morehead City, North Carolina & Travel within South Zone This position supports the Multi-Vendor Medical Technology business with our clients. This position will be responsible for client relationship management through the effective application of technical expertise to install, troubleshoot, and service Medical Equipment at client locations. Your role: - Execute preventative maintenance and service repairs on equipment utilizing service manuals, on-the-job training, original equipment manufacturer or third-party training. - Recognize and resolve client challenges, providing appropriate communication and involving relevant site service personnel. - Prioritizing customer satisfaction as the primary objective, the Medical Equipment Technician must demonstrate ownership in complex scenarios and exhibit urgency in delivering results, with the ability to establish immediate priorities based on guidance from Site Manager, Site Team, or client. - Autonomously complete preventative maintenance, field change orders, installations, and related tasks, and independently diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical issues. - Travel up to 50% to Accounts located throughout the South Zone. You're the right fit if: - 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment; general biomedical, patient monitoring, blood pressure monitors, defibrillators, or infusion pump experience highly preferred. - Associate's degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor's degree in related engineering disciplines preferred. - Possess working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors and computer hardware including applications, programming, and systems functionality. Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment, including knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment. - Capable of successfully performing minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Field Service position. - Able to work flexible hours (based on business needs to include overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations) and safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials; wear all required personal protective equipment. - Capable of traveling, by car and airplane, up to 50% of the time to Accounts located within the South Zone. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations. This is a Field role. This role also includes on-call pay, training, and advancement opportunities. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive plan, field service incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
