Binance is hiring a Senior/Staff DevOps Engineer to join our Trading Technology team, specifically supporting the Lever platform. In this role, you will be responsible for the reliability, performance, and scalability of the infrastructure powering our leveraged trading services.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, low-latency infrastructure for trading systems.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and incident response processes to ensure platform reliability.
- Implement and manage robust security controls and compliance measures.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize application performance and resource utilization.
- Lead capacity planning and scaling initiatives to handle increasing trading volumes.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role.
- Proven expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security fundamentals.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and observability stacks (monitoring, logging, tracing).
- Ability to diagnose complex system issues and drive post-mortem processes.
Nice to Have
- Background in financial services, trading platforms, or cryptocurrency exchanges.
- Experience with low-latency or high-frequency trading system infrastructure.
- Knowledge of database performance tuning and distributed systems.
- Programming or scripting proficiency in languages like Go, Python, or Shell.
