About the Role

Lead BIM engineering and implementation for civil and electromechanical design of medium and high voltage electrical substations, ensuring compliance with technical standards and providing expert support to clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BIM team in delivering civil and electromechanical engineering for all types of medium and high voltage electrical substations.
• Drive the implementation of BIM methodology within the engineering team for medium and high voltage substations.
• Carry out detailed civil and electromechanical engineering design using BIM processes for medium and high voltage electrical substations.
• Review BIM models of medium and high voltage electrical substations produced by external parties.
• Provide technical support to clients regarding BIM models for medium and high voltage electrical substations.

Requirements

• Minimum educational requirement: Technical Engineering, Technical Architecture, Bachelor's in Architecture, or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering.
• Master’s degree in BIM.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in a similar role.
• At least two years of experience in medium and high voltage substation projects or electrical infrastructure.
• Advanced BIM skills using Revit and Navisworks.
• Experience working with Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as ProjectWise Engineer and ACC (BIM 360).
• Advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Spanish construction regulations.
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with IBERDROLA's civil and electromechanical design standards and regulations for substations.
• User-level experience with Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of QGIS or GvSIG geographic information systems.
• User-level experience with CYPE software.
