AECOM was looking for a BIM Manager- Data Centers

AECOM is seeking a BIM Manager to support Data Center projects within South Africa and globally. The role involves developing BIM implementation strategies, managing Common Data Environments (CDE), and ensuring compliance with BIM standards across complex international projects.

What You'll Do

  • Develop BIM Implementation strategy & deliver complex international projects
  • Establish & administer the CDE & support efficient management of multi-stakeholder projects
  • Coordinate BIM execution & project delivery with project leadership
  • Create & maintain the project’s industry framework docs: BEP, MIDP, MPDT, appendices etc
  • Establish data-integrated workflows for buildings/Data Center projects & provide support, guidance & training to project teams
  • Oversee the production of smart object content, templates & libraries in the context of the project
  • Deploy the use of AECOM’s content management system (Autodesk Content Catalog) onto projects
  • Manage the best practice use of digital technology for collaboration, coordination & delivery
  • Establish & administer the digital quality assurance control procedures
  • Ensure BEP (BIM Execution Plan) compliance through systematic model checks
  • Monitor model performance against defined KPIs
  • Produce regular reports on compliance status and performance metrics to support project quality and efficiency
  • Be an ambassador for a global group working with AECOM region project teams, Enterprise Capabilities office disciplines & other Enterprise Capabilities Digital departments
