Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for phosphates and specialty ingredients in the food and pet food sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Benelux region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and product information to customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with customers.
  • Monitor sales performance and report on progress to management.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Manage customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.

Your Profile

  • You have a proven track record in sales within the food or pet food industry, with a strong focus on phosphates and specialty ingredients.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • You are proficient in using CRM software and sales tools, and have experience in remote work and virtual collaboration.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, and are fluent in English and at least one local language of the Benelux region.
  • You are a strong negotiator with the ability to close deals and manage customer complaints effectively.
  • You have experience in developing and executing sales strategies, and analyzing market data and trends.
  • You are knowledgeable about industry regulations and standards, and can provide technical support and product information to customers.
