About the Role

The position involves conducting behavioral assessments, creating intervention strategies, and monitoring progress for individuals with developmental and behavioral needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviors
  • Develop and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with caregivers and professionals to ensure consistent implementation
  • Train and supervise behavior technicians and support staff
  • Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis
  • Adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluation
  • Provide direct therapy sessions when necessary
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards
  • Participate in team meetings and case reviews
  • Support transitions between treatment settings
  • Assist in the development of educational materials for families
  • Coordinate with schools and external providers
  • Promote skill acquisition across communication, social, and daily living domains
  • Use applied behavior analysis principles in all interventions
  • Respond to behavioral emergencies with appropriate protocols
  • Conduct regular progress reviews with stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and licensing requirements
  • Engage in professional development activities
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Support program accreditation efforts
  • Deliver feedback to families in a clear and compassionate manner
  • Model effective behavior strategies for others
  • Uphold client dignity and autonomy in all interactions
  • Maintain punctuality and reliability in scheduling
