Responsibilities
- Improve the e-commerce experience for hundreds of millions of users across the world
- Work closely with product managers to plan and deliver features that impact the entire stack, from the search backend to customer facing APIs
- Build rich product discovery experiences and develop features that define how users interact with search
- Help determine what technologies we use to make backend performance and database communication blazing fast
- Help craft testing strategies to make sure uptime is 100% and customers stay satisfied
Requirements
- Have experience with server-side engineering
- Have experience implementing beautiful and inherently consistent web APIs
- Have worked at a high-traffic website and designed highly available and robust systems
- Have experience with relational databases and distributed systems
- Enjoy being part of the product development process, incorporating customer feedback, and contributing to all layers of feature development
- Love designing and implementing new features
- Enjoy helping others around you grow as developers and be successful
- Can work independently

Additional Information
- This position has a base salary range between $80k and $120k USD. The offer varies on many factors including job related knowledge, skills, experience, and interview
