Similarweb is hiring a Backend Engineer (.NET) to work at the core of our data platform. In this data-oriented company, you will design and implement complex high-scale systems for acquiring and analyzing data from millions of web users, responsible for the entire data lifecycle from data lakes to APIs.
What You'll Do
- Develop and integrate systems processing over 50 thousand events per second and serving various mobile and desktop clients.
- Manage data pipelines using Spark and Airflow frameworks.
- Design, code, and implement large-scale, scalable systems using a wide range of technologies.
- Implement solutions in the AWS cloud environment and develop CI/CD pipelines.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- Experience with one or more OOP languages (e.g., C#, Python, Java, Go).
- Experience building large-scale web applications.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Microservices, AWS, and databases (DynamoDB, Redis, MySQL, Elasticsearch).
