Stripe is hiring a Backend Engineer, AI Security

Stripe is expanding the AI Security team and looking for experienced backend engineers to help us build secure AI systems. This role will focus on identifying and mitigating security risks in AI/ML systems, including data privacy, model integrity, and adversarial attacks. You will work closely with our AI/ML engineering teams to embed security practices into the development lifecycle and ensure our AI products are robust and trustworthy. You will: - Identify and assess security risks in AI/ML systems, including training data, models, and inference pipelines - Develop and implement security controls and mitigations for AI/ML systems - Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate security practices into model development and deployment - Conduct security reviews and threat modeling for AI/ML projects - Stay up to date with the latest research and developments in AI security You may be a good fit if you have: - Experience in software engineering with a focus on security - Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and systems - Understanding of data privacy and security principles - Experience with threat modeling and security risk assessment - Strong communication and collaboration skills We’re looking for team members with a strong sense of ownership and a track record of delivering high-quality work.
