Teleport is looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Software Engineering department, focusing on AI/ML projects. You will design and build the scalable backend systems that serve as the foundation for our machine learning initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services for AI/ML workloads
- Optimize data pipelines for model training and inference
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to define system requirements
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of production systems
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for critical services
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience building backend systems for production AI/ML applications
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and system design skills
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, or Java
- Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, and containerization
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment
