As a Backend Engineer at Wix, you will be building the platform that powers all applications at Wix. This platform serves as both infrastructure for all of Wix and as a product for external applications. Given its unique position, it is a key enabler for many of our highest priority efforts and new features.
What You'll Do
- Focus on building scalable and high-performance systems
- Design and develop with open platform principles in mind
- Ensure extensibility of the platform to support future needs
- Write clean and maintainable code
- Collaborate with other teams at Wix clearly and professionally
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in backend engineering
- Proficiency with an object-oriented programming language
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Enabler mindset with a can-do attitude
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kafka or equivalent and microservices
- Experience and comfort working with AI
