GQS GmbH is hiring a Backend Developer C#/.NET (m/f/d) to strengthen the development team at DIRS21. You will focus on designing and implementing robust API integrations for the hotel and tourism sector, ensuring scalability and performance within agile processes.
What You'll Do
- Further develop and design new workflow, database, and interface systems.
- Integrate external interfaces into software solutions.
- Work with common protocols and data formats such as HTTP/S, XML, SOAP, REST, and JSON.
- Conduct ongoing development of existing backend systems.
- Ensure scalability and performance of applications.
- Participate in agile development processes within sprint cycles.
- Use a modern framework based on container technologies.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Computer Science/Media Informatics or an excellent IT vocational qualification.
- Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, and SQL.
- Solid understanding of broad technology stacks for data-centric development (e.g., relational and NoSQL databases, data-driven architectures, APIs).
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficient English skills (at least C1 level).
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with the ability to quickly understand complex issues.
- An affinity for analysis and pattern recognition.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a get-it-done mentality.
- Willingness and ability to share knowledge internally.
- A true team player in an agile development environment (SCRUM).
- Readiness to take responsibility and work independently.

- Ideally, experience with agile project work (SCRUM).
