EX Squared is hiring a Back End Developer - Elixir -Phoenix (Remote)

Jobgether is hiring a Back End Developer to design, develop, and maintain the scalable backend systems for our investor identity platform. You will work remotely in a collaborative environment with significant autonomy to influence architecture and implement effective solutions.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain backend services using Elixir and Phoenix, supporting a modern JavaScript/React frontend.
• Build APIs and systems that ensure platform reliability, scalability, and high performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal and business development, to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support existing functionality while designing and implementing new features.
• Engineer approaches to capture and analyze critical business metrics from digital experiences.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and team knowledge sharing to uphold engineering best practices.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience developing full-stack or backend web applications.
• Strong programming skills with proficiency in at least one language such as Python, Elixir, or Rust.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and serverless architectures.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments and using containerization or deployment tools.
• Familiarity with querying large datasets (e.g., Google BigQuery) and web technologies.
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills, able to work effectively in a remote, agile team.

Nice to Have

• Preferred experience with frontend frameworks like React or Angular.
