Allianz Technology is seeking an Expert Back End Developer to plan, develop, and maintain software solutions that support our global commercial eCommerce operations. In this role, you will manage technical design and implementation to deliver complex, high-quality IT solutions.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, efficient server-side applications and APIs following a Microservices architecture.
Translate functional and technical requirements into technical software design, ensuring feasibility and optimal implementation.
Fulfill non-functional requirements such as performance, data protection, and IT security.
Collaborate with front end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Ensure the future maintainability of systems within their technical and functional environment.
Utilize DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure, leveraging CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and delivery.
Work in an agile environment and implement appropriate software engineering techniques, methods, and best practices.
Utilize AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance back-end functionality and performance.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of professional experience in back-end development or similar roles.
Expertise in Java and SpringBoot with a strong understanding of modern back end frameworks.
Experience with several of the following: Microservices architecture, security implementation, and performance optimization techniques.
Skilled in DevOps practices and cloud technologies such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Kubernetes/Docker, and AWS services for CI/CD pipelines.
Proficient in configuration, release, deployment, and test management.

Nice to Have

Good knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use to enhance the back-end development process, functionality, and performance.
