About the Role
The role involves building and managing cloud infrastructure on Azure, supporting deployment pipelines, and working closely with development and operations teams to optimize system reliability and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable cloud architectures using Azure services
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or ARM templates
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud-based applications
- Ensure cloud environments meet security and compliance standards
- Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD workflows
- Optimize cloud resource usage to balance cost and performance
- Manage identity and access controls within Azure environments
- Support migration of on-premises systems to the cloud
- Maintain documentation for cloud configurations and processes
- Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis for cloud issues
- Integrate monitoring and alerting tools for proactive system management
- Work with networking components such as virtual networks and firewalls
- Configure and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters
- Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical planning sessions
- Automate routine operational tasks using scripting languages
- Stay current with emerging Azure features and best practices
- Support auditing and governance requirements for cloud usage
- Assist in capacity planning for cloud resources
- Ensure logging and telemetry are properly configured across services
