This role focuses on designing, operating, and enhancing large-scale AWS cloud services. The engineer will develop cloud-native applications using microservices and containerization, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage large-scale AWS cloud services, including resolving technical issues and optimizing system performance.
- Apply critical thinking to quickly grasp complex systems and adapt to fast-paced, agile development environments.
- Develop cloud-native applications using REST APIs, microservices architectures, and container technologies.
- Engineer high-performance distributed systems with fault-tolerant design principles.
- Implement Agile and test-driven development practices to improve software quality and delivery speed.
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including version control with Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and multi-region cloud deployments.
- Comply with corporate policies related to code of conduct, safety, GxP, data security, and software development standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience, Master’s degree with 6 years, or PhD with 2 years in Information Technology.
- Proven hands-on experience building applications on the AWS cloud platform.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or other modern programming languages.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning emerging software technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.

Compensation
The base pay range reflects the Company's good faith estimate at the time of posting, based on job grade and location. Actual compensation may vary and is subject to change. This role is eligible for short-term and long-term incentive programs, including equity participation.
