Jobgether is hiring an Automotive Mobile Service Technician to bring expert vehicle maintenance and repair services directly to customers. In this field-based role, you will combine in-depth technical skills with excellent customer interaction to ensure vehicle reliability and high satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Perform on-site vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs across light and medium-duty vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive systems including heating/air conditioning, brakes, drivetrain, suspension, steering, transmissions, and engines (gas and diesel).
- Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Submit accurate work orders and maintain thorough documentation of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Educate customers on proper use and maintenance of their vehicles when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and issues, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of automotive service experience in light or medium-duty vehicles.
- Experience in one or more specialized areas: automobile, medium/heavy truck, school bus, or transit bus service.
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsements.
- ASE certification or ability to pass ASE certification tests.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills with ability to work independently.
- Professional and customer-focused demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
Nice to Have
- Technical or trade school training.
- Leadership capability, including training or mentoring team members when needed.
