Capgemini is hiring an Automation Tester to join our team focused on banking applications. In this role, you will design and execute automated test cases, integrate them into our Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) system, and coordinate defect resolution with development and business teams.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute automated test cases.
- Utilize the existing Automation Framework.
- Automate test cases using Selenium with Python.
- Integrate automated test cases into ALM, create and track defects within the tool.
- Coordinate testing and defect resolution with relevant development and business areas.
- Manage risks, contingency plans, and resolve blockers that could affect plan fulfillment.
- Ensure effective and timely communication with all involved team members.
- Document progress, changes, key decisions in ALM, as well as extract information and generate progress reports.
- Participate in planning sessions, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, or follow-up meetings per the adopted methodology.
- Follow project governance policies established by the institutional PMO.
What We're Looking For
- More than 1 year of experience in automated testing using Selenium with Python.
- Experience in testing within the financial sector (essential).
- More than 1 year of experience automating tests for banking applications.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of UFT.
- Knowledge of IBM 390 mainframe.
- Basic database knowledge: DB2, Mongo, Oracle.
- Basic knowledge of Linux / Unix (process review, command execution, log review).
- Scrum Master or equivalent certification.
- Ability to work with hybrid methodologies (agile + traditional).
