Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of mortgage foreclosure litigation, from initial filing through resolution, including court appearances, trials, and depositions.
- Prepare and file legal documents with precision, supported by thorough research and analysis.
- Maintain oversight of a substantial caseload, ensuring compliance with deadlines and court requirements.
- Provide clients with clear, timely updates and strategic guidance throughout the legal process.
- Work closely with legal teams to ensure consistent, high-quality representation across matters.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school and active standing in the Louisiana State Bar.
- At least six years of dedicated experience representing financial institutions in foreclosure litigation.
- Proven ability to independently manage complex cases and deliver successful outcomes.
- Strong legal writing, critical thinking, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Established client base or portable book of business required.
- Familiarity with LPS/Black Knight or Tempo platforms is advantageous.
- Admission in additional jurisdictions is a plus.
