This role involves delivering high-quality payroll support to clients across the Americas. The associate ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, responds to client inquiries, and maintains compliance with regional requirements. The schedule operates from Saturday to Wednesday.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on time for clients across multiple jurisdictions
- Respond to client inquiries regarding payroll data, deductions, and payments
- Verify timesheet submissions and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data integrity
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local payroll regulations
- Support year-end payroll processes and reporting
- Assist with client onboarding and transition activities
- Identify and escalate payroll-related risks
- Ensure compliance with tax and labor regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information
- Document client interactions and resolution steps
- Follow established service level agreements
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Support audit requests with accurate payroll records
- Assist in resolving payroll tax filing issues
- Monitor payroll system alerts and take corrective action
- Provide updates during system outages or delays
- Escalate complex client issues to senior staff
- Maintain accurate client records in the payroll system
- Support training efforts for new team members
- Adhere to internal controls and compliance protocols
- Track and report on key performance metrics
- Coordinate with technology teams on system changes
- Ensure data privacy standards are met
- Support special payroll runs and adjustments
