Responsibilities
- Oversee project execution and governance within the Platform Engineering domain.
- Guide and develop Platform Engineers, offering technical leadership and daily support.
- Develop and manage a robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including networking, identity, and environment design.
- Create and deploy automated CI/CD pipelines and environment provisioning for engineering and data teams.
- Establish and advocate for best practices in infrastructure as code, security, monitoring, and system observability.
- Serve as the main point of escalation for platform-related risks and issues, providing context and actionable solutions to delivery leadership.
- Represent the organization as the senior technical voice in client interactions, fostering strong relationships with client engineering and architecture teams.
- Lead critical platform decisions in collaboration with clients, translating technical considerations into clear business-aligned recommendations.
- Promote engineering excellence to reduce technical debt and ensure sustainable platform performance.
- Coach and develop early and mid-career engineers, setting benchmarks for quality, delivery, and growth.
- Support the evolution of engineering strategy and technical capabilities in coordination with leadership.
