Penn State University's Smeal College of Business is hiring an Assistant Teaching Professor for its Department of Accounting. In this role, you'll teach a range of accounting courses and play a central part in the department's teaching mission.
What You'll Do
- Teach a range of courses in accounting and related disciplines, with a particular emphasis on accounting analytics.
- Support the teaching mission through regular office hours, student counseling, and academic advising.
- Support the teaching mission through involvement in student extra-curricular activities and academic administration.
- Onsite teaching is an essential function of the job.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced degrees, particularly in accounting or tax.
- Relevant professional work experience.
