Responsibilities
- Supports the Superintendent in assigned duties or independently manages tasks on projects without a designated Superintendent
- Promotes safety as the top priority on site and ensures adherence to company safety policies, project safety plans, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborates with Estimating, Division Leadership, and Project Management teams to oversee and coordinate construction activities, serving as a key contact for owners, designers, and subcontractors
- Creates and executes production strategies aligned with project budget objectives
- Assists in compiling project status updates for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintains daily, progress, compliance, and operational reports and logs
- Reviews project plans and drawings per contract specifications and manages coordination of shop drawings
- Secures necessary tools and materials to align with project timelines
- Plans workforce needs and timing based on construction methods, equipment availability, and project phases
- Manages recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of field staff following HR guidelines
- Ensures accurate and timely payroll submission and compliance with HR and payroll documentation
- Collaborates with supervisors and team members, supported by HR and Legal when needed, to resolve workplace concerns
- Engages with project teams, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and suppliers to enhance construction techniques and resolve field issues
- Maintains project schedules through strategic planning of labor, materials, and equipment
- Manages and coordinates subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Upholds company policies and procedures across all operations
- Organizes and oversees inspections required by regulatory agencies
