APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking an Asphalt Laborer to join a dynamic, safety-focused crew dedicated to creating safe, high-quality roads. You'll work alongside skilled professionals in a fast-paced, high-impact outdoor environment.
What You'll Do
- Champion safety by consistently adhering to all safety protocols and company policies, using correct tools, equipment, and protective gear.
- Support your team by collaborating with managers and co-workers, communicating clearly, solving problems, and maintaining a positive team dynamic.
- Execute project tasks including shoveling, raking, wheelbarrow operation, signaling operators, facilitating material movement, and following project directions.
- Operate tools and equipment such as small power tools and handle traffic control devices like signs, cones, and barricades.
- Handle materials by lifting, carrying, and positioning construction materials, tools, and supplies for efficiency and safety.
- Prepare and maintain job sites by digging, spreading, and leveling construction materials.
- Proactively communicate any concerns or issues to your manager to keep projects running smoothly.
- Take on other duties as assigned, embracing new tasks and challenges with a can-do attitude.
What We're Looking For
- Must thrive in safety-sensitive environments and strictly follow all protective procedures.
- Willingness to collaborate, assist, and support co-workers and supervisors in various duties.
- Willing and able to travel for work, sometimes staying away from home. Ready to tackle night shifts, weekends, overtime, and outdoor work in all weather conditions.

- Arrive at work on time, prepared to take on the day’s challenges.
