At Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, we are seeking an Architecture Analyst to join our team. This role is central to building and maintaining our Enterprise Elastic APM tool. You will also assist in incorporating AI tools like GitHub Copilot and M365 Copilot into our development workflows.

What You'll Do

Architect and implement scalable Elastic Stack solutions tailored to enterprise needs, including Elastic Cloud deployments
Lead migration efforts from legacy systems to Elastic Stack-based platforms
Design and deploy Elastic Stack components in containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes
Manage and optimize Elastic Stack deployments on Linux VMs and Elastic Cloud
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data ingestion, indexing, and visualization strategies
Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across all deployments
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
Document architecture decisions, deployment procedures, and best practices

What We're Looking For

Undergraduate degree
Hands-on experience with Elastic Cloud deployment and management
Experience with the full Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats)
Solid experience with Linux VM administration and deployment
Solid background in system architecture and enterprise migration projects
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools like Ansible and Terraform
Proficiency in container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize Elastic Stack configurations
Proven excellent communication and documentation skills
