Responsibilities
- Create schematic designs, develop design concepts, and produce construction documentation, including modifying, reviewing, and finalizing technical drawings and project descriptions.
- Investigate and assess building materials to identify suitable options based on project requirements.
- Manage and oversee projects from initial planning phases through to construction oversight, ensuring coordination across all stages.
- Evaluate construction submissions and support the project manager during construction administration processes.
- Assess client needs and challenges, then formulate practical architectural responses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited 5-year program.
- Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience, with a focus on complex building design preferred.
- Proven proficiency with design software including AutoCAD, REVIT, Sketchup, and PhotoShop.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively across diverse teams and communication styles.
- Competence in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
Nice to Have
- Possession of a Florida architectural license is advantageous.
- LEED accreditation is considered a plus.
