UnitedHealth Group / Optum is hiring a Technical Architect to create and maintain the strategic vision for Application Architecture. You will collaborate with Product, DevOps, Data Science, and Engineering teams to lead the architecture, providing oversight and ensuring alignment with the broader technology strategy.

What We're Looking For

10+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
8+ years contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing software.
5+ years in a technical leadership role.
4+ years of expertise in .net, Angular, SQL based systems & software architecture design patterns.
4+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure.
2+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code paradigms and related tools.
2+ years of experience delivering software in a continuous integration & delivery model.

Nice to Have

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an Engineering discipline.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Experience in Microservices Architecture.
Experience in Domain Driven Design.
Experience working with PII/PHI or sensitive data.
Understanding of Data Science and Data Engineering concepts.
